In Venezuela, indignation grows over the slow recovery following an earthquake. More than 5,300 people have died and 20,000 are homeless. Those affected are reporting a lack of official response and are using machinery they are paying for themselves.
the machinery they're renting to dig through rubble themselves is just heartbreaking. where's the state?
