Kylian Mbappé ended up as the number one pick for José Félix Díaz, the Spanish journalist covering the 2026 Ballon d'Or on behalf of Diario AS. The vote placed him ahead of several Spanish players including Lamine Yamal, Rodri, Pau Cubarsí, and Fabián Ruiz.
