@aoi_anime_op30'BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War' is making major departures from the Manga, and the latest episode serves as a prime example of this shift. During a 2022 interview with VIZ, Tite Kubo explained that he had decided in his head to end the manga after fifteen years. With so many characters appearing in that final arc, there were many battle scenes that never made it to the Manga. He hopes to help insert those scenes back in as much as possible. Kubo sent Studio PIERROT lots of battle and design ideas, allowing previously unrealized scenes from his mind to be animated. He originally drew TYBW without worrying about TV restrictions he considered during the anime's original run, noting he was worried some scenes might be too heavy if animated at that time. Today's major differences from the manga include material that Kubo wanted to be brought to life but were unable to make the final cut during the manga's serialization. The visuals capture this intensity perfectly, showing a triptych of scenes featuring a woman with long red hair and glowing eyes, a silhouette within a pulsating red energy sphere, and two figures facing each other with glowing red energy. #TiteKubo #BleachThousandYearBloodWar

This is a triptych of anime scenes. The top panel shows a close-up of a woman with long red hair, glowing red eyes, and an enraged expression. The middle panel depicts a silhouette of a figure standing within a large, pulsating red energy sphere. The bottom panel shows two figures facing each other, one with long flowing hair and the other with spiky blond hair and glowing red energy emanating from their body. The overall mood is intense and dramatic, with a dark fantasy aesthetic.
