Internacional is at the other end, #20 in each metric, and it's not close Vasco is the one that got me though. second-worst Offensive Efficiency in the league, but above average in Shot Quality. that gap reads like keepers just turning into walls whenever Vasco shoots quick rundown on what these actually mean: Offensive Efficiency [(Goals-xG)/Games] is basically how many goals a side bags beyond what its chances were worth. Palmeiras, for instance, is close to a full goal ahead of expectation every two rounds given the looks it generates. Internacional lands on the opposite side of that Shot Quality [(xGOT-xG)/Shots on Target] takes the attempts that end up on frame and asks which teams raise their scoring odds on average and the reminder: xG is the probability a shot becomes a goal when it's struck, xGOT is that same probability once the ball's already left the boot how's your team looking in this 🇧🇷
