@FootynewsWhat stood out from GERARD PIQUÉ on RAC1 was a 2013 Clásico moment between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Cristiano had hurt his shoulder, and Messi walked over mid-match to check on him, telling him to calm down because that injury was serious. Ronaldo said it hurt but he would look at it once the game was done. After the whistle, Messi went back to him, and Cristiano showed him the shoulder and wished him a quick recovery. Piqué described their relationship as respect, not friendship and not enmity. He also pointed out the contrast: Ronaldo calls himself the best, while Messi says nothing about it. Still, Piqué called their era the greatest in history and said he's sure Messi will admit that soon in Cristiano's interview.
