@FootynewsThe envy makes sense when you look at the split paths Cristiano Ronaldo and Erik ten Hag have taken. Since departing Real Madrid, Ronaldo has kept building his legacy by scoring past 100 goals for Juventus while lifting multiple titles there. He also delivered standout performances in the Premier League during his time with Manchester United before crossing over to Al-Nassr where he added another century of goals to his tally. Now he is inching closer to hitting 1,000 career goals total. Meanwhile Ten Hag could not find success during his stint at Manchester United and failed to establish any real footing at Bayer Leverkusen either. Following those recent setbacks, he has returned to the Netherlands to manage Twente. While Ronaldo keeps expanding his legend through consistent output, Ten Hag continues to pile up failures instead. The contrast between their trajectories speaks for itself without needing much explanation.
