UMG DMCA Over Drake Post

A person active on the platform X has voiced concerns after UMG reportedly issued an incorrect copyright removal request targeting material focused on Drake. That material included zero songs or audio and consisted entirely of commentary and viewpoints. The individual explained that the actions go beyond efforts to interfere with Drake's latest project release. They are instead deploying such notices broadly to suppress any discussion or perspective they oppose. This approach amounts to improper use of copyright rules, a method also employed by another organization connected to the Super Bowl. Anyone who shares even general references tied to Drake's songs could end up receiving similar claims.
