Oman Strait of Hormuz transit fees

Oman has rejected the notion of imposing fees on ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi stated that Muscat opposes any transit charges for vessels passing through the strategic waterway. However, he suggested there could be a separate type of fee linked to services rather than transit itself.
