    A ranking of Asia's oldest national anthems still in use, based on composition or first introduction year rather than official adoption. Japan's Kimigayo leads from 1880, followed by Philippines' Lupang Hinirang (1898), India's Jana Gana Mana (1911), Armenia's Mer Hayrenik (1918), Türkiye's İstiklâl Marşı (1921), Lebanon's Kulluna lil-Watan (1927), Indonesia's Indonesia Raya (1928), Taiwan's National Anthem of the Republic of China (1930), South Korea's Aegukga and China's March of the Volunteers (both 1935), Cambodia's Nokor Reach (1941), North Korea's Aegukka and Laos' Pheng Xat Lao (both 1947), Pakistan's Qaumi Tarana (1954), and Malaysia's Negaraku (1957).
