Sony PS6 physical games decision

Sony is sticking with its plan to stop making physical games, and that could be a big problem for the PS6. The console is expected to cost around $1000, maybe more if memory prices keep going up. So Sony has to convince people to pay that much and also accept no disc drive. CEO Lin Tao mentioned they're talking to retailers about "code in a box" releases instead of physical games, but that doesn't give gamers real ownership. If the price stays high and there's no physical option, a lot of people might just skip the PS6, which would leave Sony in a tough spot. The next gen could also take longer to really get going than this one did.
