BAKI staff on the Donald Trump scene

The BAKI crew opened up about that wild Donald Trump scene and why they stuck so close to the manga. Former editor Yuki Yokoi says it’s all about showing Yujiro’s dominance, making the most powerful man in the world bow to him. Producer Takayoshi Aso admitted the team was 'genuinely torn' on how far they could go, but in the end they decided to push the 'over-the-top appeal front and center' and stay as faithful as possible.
