James McAvoy went full method for Professor X in X-Men: First Class (2011) and shaved his head before even showing up. Then they told him nah, it’s the ’60s, the man’s supposed to have hair. So his 'dear friend and follicle felicitator' spent about 24 hours putting hair extensions in. 😭
