Cristiano Ronaldo on his routine and Georgina

Cristiano Ronaldo says Georgina warns him their kids will get sick from going barefoot, but he sees it the opposite way. The body needs discomfort to strengthen itself. Cold has been part of his routine for years, from cryotherapy and ice-cold showers to compression chambers. That work is about training body and mind for high demands, and he keeps it going every day: more than seven hours of sleep a night, movement all day, and consistency above all. At 40, his physiological age according to Whoop is 28.9, and he says that is not luck, it is daily work. He also treats himself, like eating a hamburger or staying up until 2:00 watching a UFC fight and sleeping badly, but that is 5% of his life. The other 95% is discipline, routine, and recovery. The secret, he says, is not a secret: it is being consistent when others are not. #CristianoRonaldo
