Trump reduces Joint Military Exercises with South Korea

Donald J. Trump states he has a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea and isn't happy that the United States agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea. He claims these exercises are costly, with much of the cost paid by the United States, and send a signal that is inappropriate and hostile to a country that has been unthreatening and respectful during his presidency. Since it is too late to cancel entirely, Trump has instructed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to substantially reduce the Joint Military Exercises.
