JOHN GUIDETTI shares a raw look back at his early days in Kenya. He went there at three years old because his father worked as a teacher at a school. Despite having no food, every day was filled with fun and laughter among friends. Those friends had no food or clothes yet gave thanks to the Lord daily for the gift of life. His first contact with football happened right there in Kenya within a ruined neighborhood. Goalposts were marked using tin cans and stones while the fields were simply muddy dirt. He played barefoot in those conditions.
