Sir Alex Ferguson on Mourinho documentary

Sir Alex Ferguson opens up in the Mourinho documentary about how he thought José Mourinho had actually agreed to join Manchester United back in 2013. That all shifted after a phone call one evening when Jose phoned him crying. He told Sir Alex Ferguson straight up, 'Alex, I can't take it, I've given my word to Chelsea, and I'm not going to break my word.' Ferguson understood why Jose said that but admitted he was still disappointed by the outcome.
