George Pataki criticizes CBC on 9/11

George Pataki, the former governor of New York, is calling out the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for a narrative he says sanitizes history. He claims the CBC instructed staff to label the September 11 attacks as a mere crash instead of Islamic terror. Pataki insists the aircraft were hijacked and deliberately flown into those buildings by Islamist terrorists. He characterizes the broadcaster's refusal to call it a terrorist attack as political correctness masquerading as journalism. Fear of being accused of Islamophobia cannot become an excuse for denying the plain truth, he argues. This approach represents a shameful failure of moral courage according to Pataki. Sanitizing September 11 dishonors the nearly 3,000 people who were murdered, the first responders who ran toward danger and every family that still carries the pain of that day. No institution should be afraid to tell the truth.
