Ridley Scott on Alien and Prometheus

Ridley Scott insists the franchise was dead after the fourth installment, claiming they let it die right there. He calls his original ALIEN the best one by far, full stop, and says the story ended with that entry before it got killed off. That's why he decided to bring it back, sitting down with very good writers to catch fire and write PROMETHEUS instead of just letting it fade away. #RidleyScott
