Athena on Mercedes Mone AEW

Athena is okay with letting Mercedes Mone keep the AEW Women's Champion belt for a couple of months before she decides to challenge her. She says there is real mutual respect between them regarding their careers, noting they were former tag partners and might be current ones too. Athena recalls sitting at home watching Mercedes win a title while wearing a broken nose, thinking she was an absolute star who had endured significant challenges. While Athena wants a crack at the big one, she emphasizes that mutual respect is still there because Mercedes didn't come after her forever or always championship. The wrestler mentions she might let her have a couple of months or something before going after hers, but notes that villainy is in the eye of the morals. #MercedesMone #ProWrestling
