Aubameyang retires from Gabon national team

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has officially called it a day with Gabon, stepping away from international football at 37. It's a decision that comes after he was blamed by the government for the team's AFCON exit, but his legacy is way bigger than that. He turned down chances with France, Spain, and Italy to play for Gabon, got them close to a World Cup spot, and picked up African Footballer of the Year in 2015. With over 400 career goals, he's a true legend of the game. And honestly, the right way to look at it is to smile because it happened, not cry because it's over.
