Patrice Evra on Enzo Fernández Chelsea transfer

"PATRICE EVRA ATTACKS ENZO FERNÁNDEZ FOLLOWING HIS EXIT FROM CHELSEA!" 🎙️ JOURNALIST: "What do you think of Enzo's decision to leave Chelsea?" 🗣️ EVRA: "I have no problem with a player wanting to change clubs. That is how football works. But if the real reason is money, then Enzo should remember what he himself said about loyalty." And Evra recalled Enzo's words when Mason Mount left Chelsea to sign for Manchester United: 🗣️ "Enzo criticized him and said he had not been loyal to the club. Perfect, if you want to talk about loyalty, I respect that." But he delivered the blow: 🗣️ "Afterwards, are you also leaving Chelsea because you are offered more money? Then people have every right to question you." 🎙️ JOURNALIST: "But doesn't a player have the right to choose what is best for their career?" 🗣️ EVRA: "Of course! I never said Enzo couldn't leave. He has every right to play wherever he wants and earn the money he believes he deserves." "BUT THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM." 🗣️ "You cannot judge someone for making a decision that you yourself might end up making later." And he closed with a VERY DIRECT message for the Argentine: 🗣️ "Do you want to leave? No problem. Do you want to earn more money? No problem either." "But then..." 🚨🗣️ "DON'T COME GIVING LESSONS ON LOYALTY TO OTHERS."
