Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey keeps making a case for why IMAX was invented. The run is now stretched through SEP 30 across the US and Canada, both standard IMAX and the 70MM format. It's already pulled in $457M worldwide just from those big screens, and if projections hold, it might actually overtake Avatar's global IMAX numbers.
