Macklemore on Ed Sheeran tour removal

The Kraft Group allegedly got stadium owners together to hand Ed Sheeran an ultimatum, and Macklemore says that is where the tour decision came from. He says Ed and his team pulled him off the tour over his comments supporting Palestine. Macklemore recounts what Ed told him: the words 'Free Palestine' and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. Macklemore's response was that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where he stood. What stayed with him, he says, is that Ed couldn't get past his public facing, 'I don't take sides.'
