Enzo Fernández Chelsea to Manchester City

Frank Lampard wore number 8 at Chelsea, but Enzo Fernández now carries Kevin De Bruyne's number 17 for Manchester City. The transfer just a few weeks ago became the most expensive in Premier League history after he served as captain at his previous club. His start has been wild: an ovation at the Etihad Stadium in his first match, an assist in a Champions League victory during his second match, and being crucial to a win in his first Manchester Derby at Old Trafford in his third match. The author compares this rapid trajectory to a mini-series worthy of Netflix, describing the events as epic and too much cinema. It feels like something only a chosen one could pull off so quickly. #EnzoFernandez
