The belief among several spoken to within WWE is that WWE is seeking to headline November's Crown Jewel with Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn, thus the title switch from CM Punk to Zayn this past Friday on Smackdown. The win positions Zayn into that bout as WWE Champion and also leave him with multiple challengers for the title. It also allows WWE to hold off on rematching Punk and Reigns, which headlined WrestleMania 42, for another time down the road if and when the company decides to do it. - PWInsider
