Shaiqiu drying harvest in Huangling, Wuyuan

In Wuyuan's Huangling village, shaiqiu is less a display than a way of life. Rooftops become the drying ground, and the harvest ends up spread across them: corn and chilies out in the open, chrysanthemums and persimmons alongside. What makes it land is the backdrop, those pale walls and roofs of dark tile holding all that color. It's Jiangxi's autumn folk culture at work, vivid in every direction. #Jiangxi #Travel
