Macklemore stage moment with flag

Macklemore pledged $1 million to Palestine and followed up with a statement about how Palestinians have lacked basic rights for decades. He asserts they shouldn't wait another day for freedom and declares his focus stays locked on this issue. He commits to continuing support for the Palestinian people and their fight for liberation while warning that news cycles will shift away from the topic eventually. His message urges audiences not to follow when the news cycle moves on because that is exactly when attention matters most. The full declaration came out right after the pledge announcement and frames the financial contribution as part of a broader stance on human rights.
