Ruben Amorim training explanation

Ruben Amorim didn't walk into the training circle because he knew exactly what would happen if he did. Standing in the middle of a group where players are just jogging, talking, and waiting for the session to end means you lose control of your own reaction. He said he couldn't trust himself around people who think showing up is enough work. Garnacho was the clearest example of that gap between having talent everywhere and putting in effort nowhere. From the fence, Amorim could see the lack of effort better than the player could ever see it in a mirror. Walking into that circle isn't coaching anymore; it's saying things you don't come back from. So he stayed by the goal with his hands in his pockets, watching a group that clearly didn't like being watched. Reporters mocked him for the distance, calling the picture funny, but the image represents a coach moving away so he wouldn't have to tell dead players what they already were.
