Anthony Russo on Avengers Doomsday origin

That moment Steve Rogers chose to live with Peggy Carter isn't just an ending, it's the actual origin point for Avengers: Doomsday according to Anthony Russo. The film kicks off one beat past where his story concluded with her, right in that specific second. Russo put it plainly: "We play one beat past where Steve Rogers' story ended with Peggy Carter, in that moment, that's where Doomsday is born."
