Scott McTominay on Man United pressure

The spotlight sitting right on you at Manchester United is what McTominay keeps coming back to, and he thinks that's the whole reason so many guys look better once they're gone. His take: saying "They left Manchester United and now they're doing well" is too easy of an excuse. He'd know, since his own last year there brought 10 goals and a trophy. And he's not letting Marcus Rashford catch strays either, calling him a top player who's always been one, one of the club legends. Pressure can warp how a performance reads, per McTominay, making things seem a lot worse than they are. Confidence does climb when you leave and actually get games, he admits, but those minutes still have to be earned. Nothing handed out 🔥 #ScottMcTominay
