Resident Evil China box office record

Biggest horror opening day China has ever recorded, and it belongs to Zach Cregger's RESIDENT EVIL. $12.1M is the number it put up. That could be enough to make it the third Hollywood title to clear $100M in China this year, behind SPIDER-MAN's $240M and THE ODYSSEY's $115M. A horror film sitting in that company is the part that gets me. #ZachCregger
