Israel election turnout by 2 PM

44.9% Of eligible Israelis had voted by 2 PM, which is a 6 percentage point jump on the same point last time around. The morning was already doing numbers: 31.5% by noon, and that noon mark is the strongest seen at that hour in decades. If the 2 PM figure holds, you're looking at the biggest share voting by that time since at least 1969. Turnout in Israel's election is climbing toward historic territory. wfwitness (TG) / Writer: Samuel
