Russian diesel tankers and Trump sanctions

The White House says it's legal, Democrats say it breaks U.S. sanctions law, and somewhere in the middle U.S. companies are reportedly being quietly nudged to take Russian diesel shipments coming across the Atlantic. At least three tankers hauling that fuel set out in October once Trump loosened the restrictions, and nobody seems to have pinned down where they'll actually end up. That gap is the whole story. Buyers are drifting away from the cargo while Russian diesel keeps showing up on the doorstep, per The Washington Sun, Reuters and Axios, with Marie on the write-up. #DonaldTrump
