Roberto Di Matteo Chelsea interim run

Di Matteo got the Chelsea job as an interim fix to close out the season. What followed was a run that knocked out a Barcelona side still rated among the best and closed the book on Pep Guardiola's time there. The FA Cup landed too. Then the UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich, in Bayern's own stadium, and Chelsea won it. Six months after that trophy, he was dismissed. After the dismissal, he stopped turning up in professional football at all. You can't script a tenure that swings that hard in either direction. #RobertoDiMatteo #PepGuardiola
