Godzilla Minus Zero box office record

Exhibitors ALL IN for GodzillaMinusZero  aka #ゴジラ  -0.0’s debut at US BoxOffice, with an ALL TIME RECORD for international language live-actions 3.254 theatres booked to receive Godzilla’s opening weekend. Previous film GodzillaMinusOne debuted over 2.308 theatres 3 years ago, which was already huge for an international live-action. GodzillaMinusZero is getting almost a thousand theatres more, and it’s beating PokémonTheFirstMovieMewtwoStrikesBack’s 3.043 theatres as #2 widest release ever for any Asian production in the U.S. Only mega phenomenon DemonSlayerInfinityCastle had a wider release with 3.315 theatres, but the amount got by Godzilla is more impressive considering the several domestic releases also hitting the market this weekend.
