Spencer Pratt on Nithya Raman barbecue ban

Candidate for mayor of Los Angeles Nithya Raman encountered fierce criticism from Spencer Pratt because of her idea to prohibit barbecues on particular days for fire prevention. Pratt stated "Come and take it!" in reply. This has contributed to the sense that Spencer Pratt is surging in popularity.

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Rahman tried to ban backyard barbecues for residents during high fire danger days. But councilwoman Monica Rodriguez blocked that proposal telling the California Post, quote, the last thing Angelinos need is a ban on hosting a carne asada in their own backyard. Here's the deal. When you've got homeless people setting warming fires on a regular basis, I don't think it's the backyard barbecues that are necessarily the problem. They always want to go after the decent folks who are just trying to live their lives. It's a Democrat playbook. Oh, there's a problem. Let's just take every freedom away from everybody. And I think Americans are done with it. At least that councilwoman is.
