Dune Part Three early IMAX fan screenings

So yeah! WB using the same DunePartTwo release playbook for the DunePartThree, as the threequel starring TimothéeChalamet, Zendaya, FlorencePugh, RobertPattinson & AnyaTaylorJoy will also hold IMAX early fan screenings. The difference is that Dune3 is holding a single screening in each select IMAX theatre in different days: select IMAX 70MM theatres will hold a single screening each on MON, DEC 14, 6pm, meaning 4 days before its official release, while select regular IMAX theatres will hold their early fan screenings on a TUE, DEC 15, also each theatre with a single screening at 6pm, or 3 days prior to its release. Back in 2024, DunePartTwo held its fan screenings on a SUN the weekend before its opening, on FEB 28, SAT 7pm, exclusively in select IMAX 70MM theatres. Despite being single 7pm screenings on a SUN back in FEB 2024, DunePartTwo managed to sell out them all, grossing stunning 2M from those early screenings alone. This time around, with more IMAX theatres involved, grosses should be substantially higher. But most importantly, it gives the threequel the opportunity to kick off the positive WOM engine ahead of AvengersDoomsday - well, that assuming that the conclusion is as good and well received as the previous two films though. Worth noting that DunePartThree already had 2 rounds of IMAX pre-sales for opening weekend slots, with all screenings made available for DEC 18, 19 & 20 going sold out in a matter of minutes on both occasions. So expect the same rush for those IMAX early fan screenings, which are currently expected to go on sale next week if nothing changes. Get your notifications ready & keep your eyes peeled, because after what happened to the Dune3 pre-sales in APR - and after the craziness just recently over TheOdyssey in which the Dune3 prologue has been attached to - there will be WAY MORE people fighting to get these early screenings once pre-sales go live.
