Gatik just crossed the $1B valuation mark after securing $200M to scale its driverless truck fleet. This isn't just hype, they are dominating short-haul freight with what might be the most impressive physical automation operation on the planet. The metrics back it up: over 100,000 driverless orders processed and a 99% on-time delivery rate. They locked in their first fully driverless commercial route back in 2021 and have since piled up more than $600M in contracted revenue. By 2026, they will be deeply embedded in PepsiCo's supply chain. But the real headline isn't the billion-dollar valuation. It is that customer demand is growing faster than Gatik can actually deploy the trucks. That is a very good problem to have when you are running this kind of scale.
