After Hulk becomes Galactus' new Herald, he asks if he can warn each planet's inhabitants before Galactus arrives. Galactus agrees, as long as it doesn't get in the way of the mission. Bruce heads out on his first assignment, traveling to a planet inhabited by the Kree, and provides them a colony ship so they can evacuate before Galactus gets there. His actions catch the Avengers' attention, and they beg him to help them stop Galactus instead. Bruce refuses, accusing them of only caring about protecting future allies for the next big war, not actual civilian lives. Tony tries to confront him, but the Hulk suddenly takes over and punches him. Tony calls in Captain Marvel and Vision, ordering them to restrain the Hulk. Hulk overpowers them easily, absorbing Carol's energy and taking down Vision. Tony comes back in a Hulkbuster suit upgraded by Doom, built to resist energy-based attacks. Hulk still gains the upper hand until Tony destroys the evacuation ship. Enraged that Tony just wrecked his plan to save the Kree, Hulk moves in to finish him off, but stops when he hears a little girl crying in the wreckage. Bruce rescues her, then reluctantly helps Tony, admitting that Galactus' arrival can't be stopped. Tony reminds him that Hulk answers to no master but himself. The words land, Hulk takes full control over Banner and sends Galactus a message. Hulk is coming!
