Threadguy on crypto caution
There are moments in time where you look back and think it is time to be a hero. There are moments where that is the case and you sit down and just go for it. It doesn't feel like that right now. I don't know how to explain it. It doesn't feel like that's the moment. It doesn't feel like it's time to step in and be a hero. I studied Alexander of Macedon and Napoleon Bonaparte regarding their timing for conquest and war, but this isn't one of those times. I'm 75% cash, 25% perps position on ZEC and it's green. It doesn't feel like I'm supposed to raise more cash but it feels just ugh as we're seeing some retraces right now. Threadguy holds this opinion because while he identifies specific moments where acting decisively is appropriate, the present moment simply doesn't feel right for heroic action in crypto.

There are moments in time where you look back and you think to yourself, it is time to be a hero. Okay? I was put on this earth. I studied the greats. I watched Alexander of Macedon conquer the world at 16. I watched Napoleon Bonaparte go to war. I've seen. I've studied. I've watched. And now it's my time. It's my turn. There are moments where that is the case. And you sit down. You put your dick on the table. And you just go for it. it doesn't feel like that right now. I don't know how to explain it. It doesn't feel like that's the moment. It doesn't. It just doesn't to me. I'm long, sort of, 20%, 75% cash, 25% purpose position on Zach, and it's green, and it just doesn't feel good. Doesn't feel good. It doesn't feel like I'm supposed to raise more cash, but it feels just ugh type of thing. As we're seeing some retraces right now, it feels ugh. It doesn't feel like it's time to step in and be a goddamn hero.
