Byron, the setup talk misses the point. President Trump got spotted with Black supporters and the applause came instantly, and the man himself shut down the staged theory: he doesn't know 'em, he LOVES them, they've been with him 10 years, they like Trump and he likes them back. That's the whole argument right there. His pitch to those same voters: vote for Mike Rogers, not that other guy, because Abdul isn't a big fan of Jewish and Black people. And the real target is the Democratic habit of assuming Black voters can't think for themselves. Break the trend in Michigan.
