    Panoramica

Hiroshi Takahashi launched Crows in 1990, filling Akita Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Champion with stories set inside Suzuran High School. This all-boys institution operates on a simple hierarchy where the strongest fighter claims the title of King of Crows. The narrative does not follow one hero for decades but instead shifts focus to new characters like Bouya Harumichi who arrive to challenge the existing order. Each arc introduces fresh rivals and explores the brutal social dynamics of high school gangs.

The series ran until 2003, collecting 26 volumes that document the rise and fall of various student leaders. Takahashi later created spin-offs including Worst and QP to bridge timelines and expand the universe. These works share the same setting and characters while continuing the cycle of turf wars. Viz Media published the English translation, making the gritty art style and realistic brawling accessible to Western readers.
