The narrative of the 'American brother' who endured years of rigorous preparation before debuting remains a central piece of fan lore, positioning him as a stabilizing force within the group. High engagement on his social media platforms, boasting approximately nine million followers, underscores his global reach. Recent developments in 2026, including contract renewals and album releases following lineup changes, have further solidified his role as a core member during a transitional period for NCT 127.[modifica]
