Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon

An unnamed man meets his end after being crushed by a falling vending machine and wakes up in a fantasy world with that exact form. As Boxxo, he retains human consciousness but operates strictly through coin slots and dispensing mechanisms. He cannot walk or fight physically, yet he possesses an inventory system stocked with snacks, drinks, healing potions, and weapons. His survival depends on Lammis, a young hunter who carries him on her back through dangerous labyrinths while relying on Boxxo to restock supplies during combat.

The series originated as a web novel serialized on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in March 2016 before Kadokawa Shoten published it in print under the Sneaker Bunko imprint in July 2016. Hirukuma wrote the story while Itsuwa Kato provided the original illustrations for the web version. Yūki Hagure took over illustration duties for the physical books, which typically run about 200 pages per volume. Yen Press licensed the English edition, releasing the first volume in 2021 alongside a manga adaptation illustrated by Kunieda that launched in Dengeki Daioh magazine in August 2021.

Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ produced the anime adaptation, which aired its first season from July to September 2023. A second season followed in 2025, and the final third season premiered in Japan on April 2, 2026. The English dub for the concluding season began streaming on Crunchyroll on April 15, 2026.
