Riwoo

Riwoo stands as the visual anchor of BOYNEXTDOOR, a rookie act that quickly transformed from Seoul newcomers to global sensations. His journey is defined by the sharp contrast between his petite stature and explosive stage power, a dynamic that fans have turned into a defining lore. The collective fanbase has mobilized with remarkable speed since the group's May 2023 debut. They champion Riwoo through organized streaming parties that drive chart momentum for releases like 19.99, while viral edits highlighting his choreography credits on tracks like But I Like You flood social feeds. Fans often celebrate his "Gen Z swag" and relatable anecdotes shared during interviews, fostering a community built on the idea of the accessible boy next door. This digital engagement extends to Weverse, where Riwoo's encouraging replies have become a ritual for supporters seeking connection beyond the screen. Despite this intense activity, the iFANN Global Fame Engine has evaluated Riwoo but does not currently hold a placement in the published rankings (Global Top 1,000 or a Top-100 scope list). As of August 2026, the fanbase has no formal documented name.[modifica]

Riwoo's stage name was crafted by his agency; "Ri" echoes his surname Lee, while "Woo" evokes rain or friendship in Korean. An ISFJ personality type, he finds solace in movies and R&B, citing EXO's Kai as his primary dance inspiration. He actively shapes the group's performance history, contributing choreography to their debut hit But I Like You and subsequent tracks. Offstage, he cultivates a gentle reputation, often leaving thoughtful messages for fans on Weverse.

A central pillar of fan folklore surrounds Riwoo's physical presence within the lineup. As the shortest member of BOYNEXTDOOR, his height difference against taller members like Sungho and Leehan became an instant inside joke and a focal point of affection. Fans frequently highlight this contrast in video edits, turning a simple physical trait into a beloved symbol of the group's dynamic. Another enduring story emerged from his June 2023 appearance in the "30 Questions" interview, where his candid answers about personal preferences helped solidify his relatable persona. These moments, combined with the group's rapid international expansion to Japan, form the early legends of his career, proving that even in a short span, Riwoo has carved out a unique space in the hearts of Nextdoorers.[modifica]

iFANN currently estimates Riwoo's net worth at $750 Thousand heading into 2026. This valuation reflects his earnings from BoyNextDoor's robust group activities, including album sales, streaming revenue, concert tours, and fan meetings. The collective has surpassed 1 million cumulative album sales, generating significant income split among the members. Additional financial support comes from endorsement partnerships with major brands such as ACUVUE, KB Kookmin Bank, and Lotte Chilsung. KOZ Entertainment manages his compensation through a salary and profit-sharing structure. While specific figures regarding his choreography credits remain private, these professional contributions add to his overall financial profile as a multifaceted performer.[modifica]
