Where Is My Husband!

Raye dropped Where Is My Husband! as the lead single from her second studio album, This Music May Contain Hope, on September 19, 2025. She finished writing and producing the track just eleven days before its release after teasing snippets at festivals earlier that year. The song arrived through her independent label Human Re Sources and immediately became a global phenomenon. Stylized in all capital letters, the track blends contemporary R&B, pop soul, big band music, funk, and gospel elements to showcase her theatrical vocal range.

The official music video directed by The Reids features a surreal narrative where Raye chases an elusive man through black-and-white scenes that burst into vibrant color when she appears on stage wearing a striking red dress. This visual choice mirrors the song's themes of longing and self-empowerment. Critics praised the bold theatricality and Raye's confident vocal evolution, noting how the production supports her dynamic storytelling without overshadowing her voice.

Commercially, the single achieved immediate success across multiple territories. It debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, marking Raye's first solo number-one hit in her home country. In the United States, the song peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, establishing her as a major force in the American market. The track also reached the top 10 in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland. A remix featuring David Guetta and Hypaton released later in 2025 extended the song's reach into the electronic dance music sphere. [modifica]
